Nottingham Robin Hood Pageant 2007

On behalf of Nottingham Council the Robin Hood Pageant takes place in the Castle Grounds in the heart of the city, the aim of this event is to explore the legends and myths of Robin Hood, the society will be supplying the mobile Court of King Richard I. The display centres around the King himself and his role in the legends as pardonner of Robin that notorious outlaw. Over the day the King supported by his bodyguard of Knights and his Chamberlain will grant audiences with the public, and take regular tours of the displays. The Kings personal Friar will be providing his services in his mobile chapel, attending to the needs of the Court and hearing the confessions of errant souls who pass his way.
